Meet the Owner – Anthony Reid

Founder & CEO, A-Plus HRR LLC

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland in July 1978, Anthony Reid grew up in Montgomery County where his values of hard work and integrity were shaped early. In 2000, under the mentorship of his uncle, William “Manny” Wilson, Anthony learned the fundamentals of craftsmanship and the importance of customer service — a foundation that continues to drive A-Plus HRR LLC today.

In 2002, Anthony entered the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program at JCAC in Upper Marlboro, MD, graduating in 2006. He gained hands-on experience on major commercial projects, including the Metrorail Blue Line extension from Addison Road to Largo Town Center, as a member of Local 132.

After years of working for others, Anthony launched A-Plus Handyman Remodeling & Renovations LLC (APLUSHRRLLC) in 2020, turning a career setback into an opportunity. Since then, the company has completed hundreds of successful projects — from everyday handyman tasks to full-scale home renovations.
